I have heard so many times that the Bible is contradictive. Therefore, in my study I wanted to look closely to what I was reading.

I have been asked many times, “Do you believe every word in the Bible to be true?” I would say yes. Then one night a man that I was sitting next to, asked me that very same question. “Do you believe every word in the Bible to be true?” I looked right into his eyes and couldn’t find an answer to give him. It was at that moment, I realized, how dare I say anything to anybody about a Bible I myself did not fully understand.

At that time of my life I believed that I was being lead by the Holy Spirit. At times, I know that I was. However there were also times I knew that I was not. I really started to think. Am I saying what I think, or what the Holy Spirit thinks’. That is when it hit me. I am responsible for every life I speak to. I asked my self. What do I, a nobody, a man created no different then any other man on earth, have that no one else has?

My answer was, "I have nothing!"

For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

As I started to go to the Bible for answers, that Bible was no longer the same book that I had been reading. It did not look, feel, sound, taste, or even smell the same.

I was told that the Bible is the number one selling book in the world. So I looked into that and found it to be true. I then took a look around the world and asked myself. If the Bible is the number one selling book in the world, why does the world live in so much disorder, unhappiness, shame, poverty, disobedience and chaos? It made me think that maybe the Bible was the cause of this chaos. So I looked into that and found that was not true! I could have blamed the Bible for everything. I blamed everything else on other things. What would make this any different?

I and We The People are the problem. We are giving a contradictive message. It’s not the Bible that is contradictive.  It's our lack of understanding the Bible that makes it sound contradictive. This book was written to help us understand a life style, character, nature, and culture of the author of this book, the creator of heaven and earth. Along with, how the creator functions. By understanding this life style and how He functions, it will give us that deep down desire for peace and happiness in everything we do that we have not yet experienced. I have come to realize that although the Bible is the number one selling book in the world, it is the number one misunderstood book in print today. There is a lot of teaching from it, yet they do not understand it. That is the teachers and the students.

I had no idea what I did not understand, until I started to seek and study the Bible. With study comes understanding, with understanding comes knowledge and with knowledge comes wisdom.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  

 Nothing is worse then being successful…..
On the wrong assignment.

Nothing is worse then being effective…..
Doing the wrong thing.

Nothing is worse then a awesome singer……
singing the wrong song.

Nothing is worse then communicating with excellence…..
The wrong message.

So the more I looked over and studied the word of God, I recognized my error, weakness, and mistakes. My doctrine was wrong and misunderstood. It is very frightening to discover the truth, especially when I thought I knew the truth. The truth has exposed the misunderstandings that I thought were true. My sadness is knowing that all this time, I was wrong. Even worse, the people I was leading have been lead wrongfully. If you are reading this today and I have wronged you, please except my apology. I ask for your forgiveness. 

The message is more important then the messenger. I am not impressed with the degree’s that hang on the walls of a messenger, or the cards they carry in their pockets. I am interested in the content of the message. This book, the Bible, has been preached and taught out of context. That out of context preaching and teaching has destroyed people, families, churches, nations and the belief that God exists.

So I have become aware that misunderstanding, is understanding. It is understanding the misunderstood. You may be able to understand something you are taught, yet what you were taught is mistaken or misunderstood teaching. This leads you to be mistaken or misunderstood.

If you had two newborn babies and raised them with two different theologies, you are going to have problems when it comes down to a life changing decision. If one was told all their life that a bottle is a cup and other one was told a cup was a cup. You have a problem when one asks the other to pass the cup. Then comes a bottle.

This is happening in the teaching of the gospel of the Kingdom of God. There are hundreds of different doctrines and they all think they are right! There are all these men running around that say they are men of wisdom, yet they can not figure out that there is only one doctrine.

Hello!

This misunderstanding begins to be taught with boldness, zeal and with no fear. I have now dedicated my life to God. Not only to seek and live the message, I also want to speak the message. This way I cannot put my thoughts, my idea’s, my feelings or my way into the message. The message I am talking about is called, the Gospel of the Kingdom of God by Yeshua Messiah our Savior, Lord and King.

All great books have one idea. This great book the Bible, has one idea also. The author is God. There are two very important verses in the Bible that will help you understand the idea of the author.

Genesis 1:26 (KJV) 
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.  

This verse describes God’s mission statement, His vision statement, and His mandate for mankind. In this statement God tells us what He created, why He created it and what He created it to do. Let’s look at it again. And God said,

“let us make man in our image”

You are the only creature that carries God’s image. Image means you have God’s characteristics, culture, and nature.

1 Cor. 15:47-49 (KJV)
The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. [48] As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. [49] And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
 
“after our likeness”

Likeness does not mean to look like. It means to function like.

How does God function? God functions by faith. What is faith? Faith is the substance that you believe in, before you see it. You were designed to live and function in faith.

Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Now let’s look at the next verse.

Proverbs 18:21 (KJV)
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

The power of God’s word spoken to make earth and man came from faith.

God’s idea was to expand his Kingdom. In order to expand His Kingdom He needed more territory. He also needed someone to look over that territory. He wanted to bless everyone that lived in this territory. So this book, called the Bible is about a Kingdom, a King and the King’s citizens (His children).

He spoke out in faith His idea, the earth, the life of man, and all that was created. This is what this book the Bible, is all about. God said, that it was good.

Because we do not know what the book is about, we apply our own ideas to this book. This is very dangerous. Before we go any further, I want you to understand what an idea is.

Idea means; a conception existing in your mind, a thought that has an impression or mental vision, with the belief that it will manifest.

The chair that you are sitting on…. was an idea.
The computers you use…. was an idea.
The house we live in…. was an idea.
The car you drive…. was an idea.

If you did not come up with the idea, you will not have the impression of the vision or believe it could manifest. This is because you did not conceive the idea.

Conceive means; to become pregnant with. It can not manifest without conception. So an idea becomes a concept. A concept is a picture of an idea.

If your concept is wrong, then your conclusions will be wrong. If your conclusions are wrong, your theology is wrong. If your theology is wrong, your doctrine is wrong. The only way that you can see someone’s concept is, to see their picture of their idea and understand what they said. Here’s an example;

Suppose, I tell a room full of people to picture a truck in their minds. Now I ask you. Is their picture, my picture or anyone else’s pictures the same?

No!

Why?

Your concept of the truck you thought of is not the same as anyone else’s.

Now if I say.

An orange 1969 Chevy Camaro Super Sport two door white convertible top. Two white racing stripes. White & black interior with bucket front seats and a counsel. A 350 horse power 350 cubic inch engine, four speed transmission, dual exhaust. Twelve bolt positive traction rear axle, and 15” aluminum wheels.

Would we have the same picture (concept) now?

There would still be some details to work out for some of you motor heads, yet the picture is the same. You can now understand the concept. How about if I said white sand! The beach may not be the same, yet the white sand would be the same concept (picture).

So until I or we the people, understand the concept of the Kingdom that God wanted to build, and Yeshua came to give a picture of. We are giving the wrong message. Drawing the wrong picture. We must give the details to the picture.

If I would have said 1969 Camaro, our picture would be different.

It is so important to see what God sees. It is important to understand Gods idea for us in His Kingdom, not our idea for God in the worlds kingdom.

Ephesians Crossing Ministries is working hard to spread the gospel of Gods Kingdom. We study to show our selves approved. This ministry has received revelation to understand how the Kingdom of God functions. 

When I caught the concept of how God's Kingdom functions, I applied it and found it to work.

It was the summer of 2004 when I became what the word says converted.

2. to turn one's self about, turn back
3. to return, turn back, come back

Matthew 18:3 (KJV)
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Acts 3:17-21 (KJV)
And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers. [18] But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. [19] Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; [20] And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: [21] Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

This is an important message, to see the Kingdom, you must be born again. To enter the Kingdom, you must be born of the water and the Spirit. God’s will is that none should perish.
